Hey everyone, welcome to this post on Royal Canadian Mint Coins July 2019. From time to time I check out the RCM website to see what new coins are out. I’m going to start writing about some of these coins that I think are interesting.
Here’s some cool RCM coins that are available now.
The Canadian Landscape
Mintage: 2,000
Metal: Pure Silver
I thought this was a pretty cool piece with an awesome design. It’s a 3 ounce pure silver coin with a super low mintage of only 2,000 pieces made. The coin has a $50 face value. It’s not exactly cheap at $339.95, but there is no tax because it’s pure silver.
This is Canada! Pure Silver Glow-in-the-Dark Coin (2019)
Mintage: 100,000
Metal: Pure Silver
This is another really cool coin that glows in the dark! It has a $5 face value. With a mintage of 100,000 it’s not exactly rare but it is pretty cool. The price for this coin is $29.95.
D-Day at Juno Beach Pure Silver Coin (2019)
Mintage: 100,000
Metal: Pure Silver
June 6th 2019 marked the 75th anniversary of D-Day. In honor of those Canadians who bravely served on Juno Beach the RCM has produced $3 purre silver commemorative coin. The cost of the coin is $24.95.
2019 D-Day Commemorative Collector Keepsake
Mintage: 100,000
Metal: Circulation metals (nickel plated steel)
This is a 2019 circulation coin set that features a special D-Day commemorative $2 coin. One Toonie is in color and the other one is not. The set costs $21.95.
Overall not a bad selection of some pretty cool RCM coins.
